Dr. John Wooten

Dr. John Wooten is a pediatric neurologist at Raleigh Neurology. I think he’s an excellent doctor. Here’s why:
- He is considered by many to be an expert in the field.
- He is a patient person and can sit with patients for a long time answering their questions. You never feel rushed or pressured to finish the appointment. This helps patients feel much better about the appointment.
- He’s a good listener. He actually listens to your questions.
- He recognizes that he and others in the medical field don’t know everything and he readily admits when the medical community doesn’t know something.
- He doesn’t see an informed patient as a challenge to his authority like many doctors seem to nowadays. Instead, he encourages people to read and learn and he’s willing to discuss those findings.
- He encourages patients to seek a second opinion which gives me even more confidence in his abilities.
