We use a ton of Cetaphil in our house. Two of our kids have sensitive dry skin so we use this product for their baths rather than harsher soaps which really dry them out. We’ve been to at least 3 dermatologists over the past few years and ALL of them recommended Cetaphil.
I use Cetaphil to wash my face because regular soaps seem to cause clogged pores. This stuff cleared my face pretty fast. It’s pretty amazing.
I have a friend who used to use moisturizer after showering. That was because regular soap often acts as a drying agent. With Cetaphil, no more moisturizer was needed.
We actually use the generic version of Cetaphil which is made by Equate and sold at Wal-Mart. The Equate brand is more reasonably priced.

My wife Kelly received this bag as a gift from her mom (Mimi). We’re currently using it as a diaper bag.
It’s a pretty bag really pink girly bag. I never realized how much I carry around our diaper bag. We’ve previously had standard black diaper bags and we’ve also used a blue backpack for awhile as well. This is our first try with crazy pink.
At first, I didn’t think it would be too big of a deal. Yes, it’s girly, and yes, it looks like a really pompous purse. However, my thought was that people would know that it was a diaper bag and who cares if it’s pink anyway.
The thing is, though, I’m having a hard time carrying the thing around. I must not be bold and confident enough. The straps are too long to just carry the thing like you would carry your wife’s purse if she forgot it somewhere. And you want the bag on your shoulder when you’re carrying one child and holding the hand of another.
So, I’m in this weird spot where I’m constantly carrying around this really big pink purse. I’m starting to think that Mimi bought the thing to torture me. She’s probably laughing right now.
It functions pretty well as a diaper bag but it’s tough to carry around if you’re not female. Kelly loves the bag.
UPDATE: Our family was at Dairy Queen and I was holding the bag. I felt weird holding this ginormous pink purse so I put it down on a chair while we were on line at the counter. Then we went outside to eat our ice cream and I forgot about the bag. Later on, a guy comes walking outside with the bag, looks at me in front of everyone and says, “Excuse me sir? Is this YOUR bag?” Kelly and her mom really got a kick out of that. Needless to say, I haven’t been carrying the bag around much anymore.

You don’t need a first aid kit until you need a first aid kit. My mom bought us this kit made by the company named First Aid Only™. It comes in a compact, flexible, sturdy, zip up bag that easily fits under a car seat. The model given to us has 208 pieces.

We’ve used this kit a number of times over the years including last night when we saw a pretty horrible car accident on the highway. That experience made us realize that we need to re-stock the kit and we need to get another kit for our other car.
First Aid Only™ makes a high quality product.

This is an awful product. It’s BJ’s generic glass cleaner which has a name brand of Berkely Jensen. I cannot figure out how on earth to elminate the streaks that it leaves when you’re cleaning windows. It’s wicked annoying.
Stick with Windex.

We’ve had 3 types of lawns in the houses we’ve lived in – fescue, weeds, and centipede. We’ve also had neighbors with bermuda and neighbors with zoysia. I like centipede the best. Here’s what I like about it:
It seems to me that many people struggle with their dying lawns because they’ve chosen a bogus species.
